“ NOTHING BEATS AUCTION EATS you can probably tell by my name that I might know a thing or two about Italian food. This place serves genuine Italian food alongside a great British menu. Quirky is how I’d describe the setting and cafe. We were served by pleasant attentive staff, order the food at the counter and they bring it to your table. They were busy when we were there but the service was swift. We both enjoyed our meal and the prices are extremely reasonable - sirloin steak n chips for example at 11.00. We will definitely return. We did return in Aug 24. We had breakfast this time. Boy oh boy, did that hit the spot. We were seated and served with a smile in less than 15mins, the food was hot, plentiful, and reasonably priced, breakfasts don’t come any better than here. ”
